Martinez, who is majoring in finance while also pursuing a modeling career, said he chose to be on the show because he was “looking for love” and wanted to “explore. Martinez, who has a German mother, a Dominican father, and eight siblings, said he had heard of the show before a friend convinced him to apply to be on it, but that he had never sat through a full episode.

We spoke to Devin about her experience on the show, finding romance in front of the cameras, and her plans for the future. How did you get involved with the show? I’d never heard of Sweet Home Alabama or anything to do with it until the casting director contacted me on Facebook. They said they’d been looking for people in Alabama for quite some time but hadn’t found the right girl.
